Baby Shower Fun! :)

Way back in October, I had offered a very sweet friend of mine to throw her baby shower.  Her and her husband are excitedly expecting their first child - a little boy - in April!  It's right around the corner :)  I'm so happy for both of them!  They will make wonderful parents!

Hannah asked for a vintage plane theme for the shower as their little boy's nursery is decorated in vintage planes.  I had way too much fun with this theme, and I snapped a few pictures to share with you all!

Everyone was required to have a passport and boarding pass to enter :)  The turned in their gifts at baggage check, as well as getting their passports stamped!  Baggage claim was where Hannah and Justin opened their gifts, and a Complimentary Meal was provided.  I believe the flight from Stork International Airport to Stork Station was a success!!

Thanks to my friend, Elissa, for helping out!

The happy soon-to-be parents!

Nice hair bow, fits you well :P

SOOOOO cute!!!!

Priceless!!!  These expressions are priceless!

Love you guys, Hannah and Justin!!!  I'm so thankful for the friendship the Lord has built between us!  You all are special to me :)  Josh and I are so excited for you both as the birth of your little one approaches soon!!

So What Have We Been Up To?

I know I've shared a lot of wedding pictures over the past few weeks, and I'll probably be sharing more here and there over the next few months :)  But, I just wanted to fill you all in on a little of what we have been up to since our wedding!

Upon our return from our awesome honeymoon....

...we jumped back into normal life, but this time side-by-side, and it has been a blast!!!  Josh's schedule is fairly flexible and it is nice to have him home for a decent bit of time each day :)  And sometimes I'll even go hang out in his office with him at the church (usually to use Wifi :D), but it's such a blessing to just be together.

The Saturday following our return from our honeymoon, Josh had the opportunity to share his testimony with the students taking Pastor's Basic Salvation class at MBC.  It was a blessing to sit there and listen, as well as to recall that the last time we were in that classroom, we were sharing our testimony of how the Lord brought us together with the Courtship and Marriage class...

We had a wonderful first Christmas together that was very sweet.  It was a relaxing day with my hubby of many wonderful memories :)  We had a blast at my family's that evening playing lots of games!

We have many opportunities to serve together at church, and one of those opportunities has been Print Shop.  Josh is in charge of this ministry every Saturday during the school year.  There's never a day where there's not plenty to do!  Whether it's printing more lessons of 7 Steps to God or assembling church directories and calendars or many other such things, it's always a busy afternoon!

And every once in a while, we have just a little fun playing pranks on certain people...such a the school administrator :)  We had a little too much fun building a paper castle in his office :)  This picture obviously doesn't do it justice as this was just the very beginning stages of our prank that took 2 1/2 hours to build :)  Once we get the video of his reaction ready, I'll be posting it and sharing more about that awesome day!

We've enjoyed going on many walks and runs together, and look forward to running the Fargo 10K together in May, Lord willing!  It's been so much fun to do these things TOGETHER!!!

Post 2.75-mile run picture :)

And sometimes we can be just a "little" weird.  No comment to the picture below...  I still laugh every time I see it :)

I had the joys of experiencing my first wisdom tooth extraction at the end of December.  I wouldn't sign up for the recovery process every day, but the extraction itself wasn't bad :P

The first week in January we took a trip to Wisconsin to visit Josh's family and celebrate Christmas with them.  It was a wonderful time, and we look forward to the next time we get to be with them!

Otherwise, the best part of life has just been doing it together!  I am so thankful for my hubby :)  Whether babysitting, learning Arabic, having him around while I'm sewing or baking, doing radio request hour, or just enjoying God's creation - together is the best part!  I am so blessed and so thankful for everything God has done in our lives!!!
